Exhibition Application GALLERY K
Vantaa Artist Association holds an open call once in a year for Gallery K. Applying is open for everyone. One exhibition period is up to three or four weeks long.

Gallery K
Gallery K is located in an old library building ( build 1957, achitects Olli and Eija Saijonmaa) next to the City Hall of Vantaa. Building is protected by the bureau of museum. Gallery K has expectionally good transport connections, Tikkurila station is located under 5 minute walking distance. The office and art rental shop of Vantaa Artist Association located in Gallery K. Seminars and lectures are also held in Gallery K. Gallery K has always free entry.
Gallery K's exhibition space is open ja high, one of the walls is only windows so natural light floats in. Space is divided into two levels. Lower level is 68 squaremeters and the upper with border circulating the lower level is 119 squaremeters.

Applying
Exhibition time is applied with informal application, which is delivered only in digital form. Application has to be sent in one maximum 5 MB size PDF file..
Application should include:

5-10 good quality pictures of recent artworks (not web site adresses)

information about the artworks, artwork size (height/width/depth), technique and date

exhibition application/ plan
-
suggestion on which space is applying and wish for exhibition time
-
CV
-
own contact information; name, phonenumber, adress, e-mail
Ovedued applications are not handled.
Exhibition time can be applied for the whole space or separately on lower or upper level. Artist groups can also apply for an exhibition.
Sales Commision
The Vantaa Artist Association collects 30% commision of the artworks selling price, for the members commision is 25%.
Rent
Rent for the whole gallery is 740€, lower level is 390€ and upper level is 390€.
